Technological modernization in content distribution is consolidating as a priority for the main telecommunications firms in Hispanic America. Telecable, one of the most important cable television and internet provider companies in Costa Rica, materializes a structural renewal in its transmission systems by migrating to the new VEAS AD digital insertion platform, provided by the technology firm VEAS. This strategic update seeks to optimize signal continuity in its linear video and advertising distribution workflows.

The architecture of the VEAS AD platform stands out in the sector for its strict compliance with the SCTE 30 industry standard, an application programming interface (API) that automates and standardizes communication between ad servers and splicing systems (splicers). This compatibility allows Telecable to execute automatic digital advertising and program insertion with frame-accurate precision. Likewise, the ecosystem incorporates the VEAS Status Monitor tool, a centralized system that provides real-time visualization of the status of each channel and network component, facilitating rigorous operational control.

To guarantee maximum service stability and protect transmission continuity against eventual network failures, the implementation of this project includes the integration of advanced redundancy equipment from VEAS. With this deployment of additional hardware, the company ensures immediate technological backup that minimizes the risks of on-screen interruption, shielding the company's commercial and content operations against technical contingencies.
